MR. EMMANUEL ADANSI BONAH ASSUMES ROLE AS DEPUTY EXECUTIVE SECRETARY (CORPORATE SERVICES) OF THE LANDS COMMISSION

The Lands Commission has welcomed a new addition to its top management team.

Mr. Emmanuel Adansi Bonah officially assumed office today as the Ag. Deputy Executive Secretary in charge of Corporate Services. In a brief ceremony held at the Commission’s head office, the Ag. Executive Secretary, Prof. Anthony Owusu- Ansah formally introduced him to members of management, offering a warm welcome and a concise overview of the Commission’s structure, operations, and ongoing priorities.

The Ag. Deputy Executive Secretary (Operations), Surv. Anthony Mallen-Ntiador along with other members of leadership, also took the opportunity to speak and express their commitment to collaborative teamwork as the Commission continues to pursue its mandate of effective land administration and institutional transformation.

Mr. Bonah brings with him over 23 years of executive experience across Ghana’s cocoa, commodities, and public administration sectors. His appointment is expected to inject new energy and strategic direction into the Commission’s corporate services wing.

Before joining the Lands Commission, Mr. Bonah served as the Chief Executive Officer of Tower Assets Limited, where he led the company to financial independence and significantly scaled its operations. His career also spans leadership roles at Splendid Business Service Limited and the Progressive Licensed Cocoa Buyers Association, where he built a reputation for turning around operations, empowering staff, and delivering measurable growth.

A strong advocate for good governance, Mr. Bonah’s expertise cuts across policy development, human resource management, stakeholder engagement, and institutional reform. His educational background includes an MBA in International Business from Schiller International University (USA), a BA in Economics & Sociology from the University of Cape Coast, and professional studies with ACCA (UK). He has also represented Ghana at several international conferences on commodity trading, sustainability, and labour development.

Mr. Bonah is deeply committed to innovation, public service, and inclusive national development. In his new role, he is expected to contribute significantly to the Lands Commission’s transformation agenda, with a focus on operational efficiency, transparency, and strategic corporate governance.
