NOTES FOR DEEDS REGISTRATION

  1. The Acknowledgement Slip issued by the Lands Commission does not constitute the registration of Deed submitted for registration.
  2. Deed registration is dealt with in accordance with Chapter six of the Land Act, 2020 (Act 1036), a function of the Land Registration Division of the Lands Commission.
  3. All transactions on Public/State Lands must first be handled by the Public and Vested Lands Management Division (PVLMD) of the Lands Commission which is legally mandated under Section 23 of Lands Commission Act, 2008 (Act 767) to manage public lands and all lands vested in the
