Surv. Jones Ofori-Boadu (FGhIS)
Surv. Jones Ofori-Boadu (FGhIS) is the Deputy Executive Secretary in charge of Corporate Services of the Lands Commission. He holds a B.Sc. in Geodetic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Integrated Map and Geo-information Production from the International Institute for Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (ITC)-Enschede, The Netherlands. He undertook a year training course in Surveying and Mapping under JICA sponsorship in Geographic Survey Institute (GSI) – Tsukuba, Japan, and holds MSc. in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the Nanjing Normal University – Nanjing, China. Surv. Jones Ofori-Boadu has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Jones has worked as a Geomatic Engineer at the Survey and Mapping Division of the Lands Commission for over 20 years and rose to the grade of Deputy Chief Geomatic Engineer. Currently he is the Deputy Executive Secretary in charge of Corporate Services at the Lands Commission.
At the professional front, Surv. Jones Ofori-Boadu is a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (FGhIS), a Professional Member of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) and a Professional Member of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS).
