Joseph Abakah Arthur stands out as an accomplished Land Administration Officer with a robust 16-years background in land administration and management and human resources.

He holds a BSc in Land Economy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and an MA in Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Coast.

A dedicated member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors since 2012, he has furthered his expertise with a Certificate in Strategic Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Certificate of Proficiency in GIS, Remote Sensing & Land Use Design Concepts from the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa.

Initiating his career as National Service Personnel at the Lands Commission, Joseph has progressively advanced, currently embodying the role of Acting Regional Lands Officer in the Ahafo Region since 2021. His leadership has catalyzed the establishment of several district offices and the formation of staff welfare unions, underscoring his significant contributions to the Commission’s committees and the broader land management sector.
