SURVEYOR YAW ACHEAMPONG AMOAH (OTI REGIONAL LANDS OFFICER)

Surveyor Yaw Acheampong Amoah currently serves as the Regional Lands Officer of the newly created Oti Region a position he has held since July, 2021 to date. Prior to his current role he has held the position as (Regional Surveyor), the Head of Survey and Mapping Division for three different Regions namely Upper West Region from 2011-2015, Eastern Region from 2015-2018 and Brong Ahafo Region from 2018-2021 where he demonstrated exemplary leadership and expertise and professionalism in Land Surveying and Mapping operations and supervision. Additionally, while at Upper West Region he also acted alongside being the Regional Surveyor, the Regional Lands Officer when the Substantive Officer retired from 2013-2015 before he was transferred. Surv. Yaw Acheampong Amoah is also a fellow of the Ghana Institute of Surveyors (GHIS)

At Oti Region Surv. Yaw Acheampong Amoah continues to apply his enormous experience and knowledge in Land Administration to improve proper Land Management practices, policies and educate the people of the Region

Yaw Acheampong Amoah has a MSc in Land Administration from University of Twente (ITC) Netherlands, Commonwealth Executive Masters in Public Administration (CEMPA) and a BSc Geomatic Engineering both from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology, KNUST.

Surv. Yaw Acheampong Amoah is Principal Geomatic Engineer and married with four children.
