SURV. EUGENE ASANTE BOATENG (MGhIS) (WESTERN NORTH REGIONAL LANDS OFFICER)
Surv. Eugene Asante Boateng also known as Nana Asante Boateng I, Nkosuohene of Koforidua-Akwadum is the Acting Regional Lands Officer of the Western North Region. He holds a B.Sc. in Land Economy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and has a Master of Sustainability from the Monash University, Melbourne- Australia. He is a professional member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors.
Nana Asante Boateng has worked in four (4) regions of the Land Commission namely, Eastern, Volta, Upper West and now Western North. As a Land Administration Officer, he rose through the ranks from an Assistant Land Administration Officer to his current rank as a Principal Land Administration Officer. During this period, he held the position as the Head of Public and Vested Land Management Division, Upper West Region, until he was appointed Acting Regional Lands Officer, Western North Region. He was integral in transforming the face of the Upper West, Public and Vested Land Management Division.
As the Acting Regional Lands Officer, Western North Region, he is focused on enhancing revenue generation and has brought so many innovations to revenue generation in the Region. He comes along with a wealth of experience in Land Management and Administration spanning beyond fifteen (15) years and is endued with passion for accelerated land sector growth. He has the passion of positively affecting community development and humanity through his field of work. He is also a recipient of the African Leadership Award of Excellence from the Australian Government.
