LANDS COMMISSION PARTICIPATES IN CIVIL SERVICE WEEK CELEBRATION

The Lands Commission has been participating in the just-ended 2023 Civil Service Week Celebration and Awards Ceremony at the forecourt of CLOSAG, here in Accra.
The Week long Celebration which started on Monday, 29th May to Thursday, 1st June 2023, brought together Ministries, Departments and Agencies who showcased their products and services,  pictures of activities and videos of projects, Client Service charter, policy documents, among others to help the public appreciate the services the various organisations render to the public.
The Minority leader, Hon.Cassiel Ato Forson who graced the opening ceremony touched on the theme and commended all organisations and the organisers for the hard work and dedication all these years put in place to have enhanced service delivery.
He expressed optimism that, with the requisite skills and positive attitude towards work, the Civil Service would be a great place for all.
Hon.Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, the Majority Chief leader also touched on the theme and entreated all to be an agent of change.
The Celebration, which is under the auspices of the Office of the Head of Civil Service, was on the theme: ‘Enhanced Service Delivery and Economic Transformation in Ghana: The Civil Service in Focus’.
The Celebration is also set aside to highlight the collective strategies adopted by the Civil Service for the continuous improvement of government.
It also seeks to recognize the strategic importance of employees of the Civil Service to national development and honour their dedicated and selfless service to the public and citizens of Ghana.
The Lands Commission seized the opportunity to sensitize the public on land acquisition, management, registration and business processes.
