The Lands Commission is intensifying its efforts to bridge the information gap between the Commission and the public by ensuring that the public is well informed about the do’s and Don’ts in land matters.

staffs of the Ghana Standards Authority, Ghana Shippers Authority, and the National Labour Commission have received comprehensive guidance on the necessary documentation for land transactions, the proper procedures for land acquisition, and the essential steps for proper registration.

The Acting Regional Lands Officer of the Greater Accra Region; Surv.Timothy Anyidoho Esq. who took the staff through eye-opening presentations, also made use of interactive sessions, case studies, and real-life examples to engage the audience for a better appreciation of the issues.

He indicated that the Commission is of the firm belief that, when the public is well informed about land-related matters, it saves lives and property and also ensures a smooth registration process so the Commission will not relent on its efforts.
